The Girl in the Corner

I first must take this opportunity to apologize for my neglect of this blog. Apparently being a full time student working a part time job and being a tattoo apprentice allows me no time to update my blog. I promise now, that things are going to change. My apprenticeship at Evolver Tattoo Arts in Pittsburgh is going extremely well. I have done 22 tattoos since I tattooed my own foot in September, I have most of my own supplies, and a relatively permanent station at the shop. I am beyond excited for the next coming months, as I will be devoting most of my time to the tattoo shop, and almost all of my thoughts focused on tattooing. This summer is going to be vital in my development as a Tattoo Artist as I will be doing simple walk ins, custom pieces, and getting a lot of work done on myself. With all that being said, I feel it is important for me to document this progress, and next big step in my apprenticeship. I also feel it is important to document this progress using tumblr as my platform because I can get helpful feedback from my followers and friends as you watch me and hopefully grow with me. I cannot make promises to update much in the awkward weeks that lay ahead before school is over, but come May I will update as much as possible with pictures, stories, sketches, and inspiration.
